The SEARCH'97 Information Server manuals are available as follows.

On-line Documentation

 To access on-line versions of the documentation, click User Guide on the Information Server main menu bar, and then click the appropriate link. You can also browse to /installdir/s97is/locale/language/doc/subdir, where installdir is the full path to the directory in which you installed Information Server and language is the locale language such as English, and subdir is the subdirectory which corresponds to the manual you want to view.

Query Language in Native Formats

You may wish to make information on the Verity query language available to users who will be entering queries. In order to assist you with this, the Verity Query Language reference files are included on the installation media in editable files. They are available in FrameMaker, RTF, and ASCII text format. The location of these files is /installdir/s97is/locale/language/doc/native, where installdir is the full path to the directory into which you installed Information Server and language is the locale language such as English.
