Using this Manual


This manual describes how to use the Verity Spider to submit indexing tasks from the command-line.

Chapter 4: Indexing Examples - This chapter provides example indexing scenarios, complete with syntax and explanation of the valid options for each particular scenario.

Appendix A: Error Messages - This appendix contains the Verity Spider error messages.

Appendix B: Upgrading Collections - This appendix describes the various methods you can use to upgrade your Information Server V3.1 collections to be compatible with the Verity Spider V3.6.

Used to denote API data type names in member descriptions; also for application names embedded in text
